Woodland Healthcare's history began in 1905, when a pioneering registered nurse and her two sisters rented a two-story home to serve the medical needs of the community. The Woodland Sanitarium had only nine beds with the second floor of the home converted into a surgical suite.
Today, Woodland Healthcare is an integrated organization: its clinics, providers, hospital and surgery center are all part of one system. This allows you and your family to conveniently access any of our outpatient, inpatient and education and support services.
Woodland Healthcare is a member of Dignity Health and patients who require additional care have access to outstanding programs offered at Dignity Health's Hospitals located in Sacramento.
